JD serves as an elder and lead pastor of Silverton First Baptist, where he has been on staff since August of 2021. He has been married to his wife Crystal since 2002 and they have four sons, one daughter, and one daughter-in-law. As a family they enjoy going to the kid’s sporting events, camping, fishing, movies and books. They strive to “do ministry” as a family and to include the whole family in the life of the church in ways that engage and challenge them.
